Distraction can be dangerous.
Boredom can be another issue.
But getting the result you want leads to ONLY one thing.
You either want it, or you don’t, it’s that simple.

Getting the result you want, I’m not going to lie to you, is not going to be easy.
Because it’s about working out what needs to be done.
AND DOING IT CONSISTENTLY.

The thing that separates people who get the RESULT they want is simple.
They have a strategy; they don’t get sidetracked, they don’t let procrastination get in their way. They don’t do excuses.

They just do the work.
Day in and day out until the result happens.

The thing is everyone is looking for the magic bullet.
The obvious answer is – do what needs to be done.

FOCUS.

1. What do I want?
2. What strategy do I need to get there?
3. What objectives to do I need to set to make it happen

If you want it,

If you want it REALLY bad, you do what it takes.

NO matter what,

No matter if you’re bored,
No matter if you’d rather switch the TV on!
Or go to the wine bar,
Do anything but the thing you need to do.

You see that’s what most people do….is NOTHING. You are not most people!

They allow distraction to rule them.
They get too attached to the outcome
Job search can be stressful….
You need to expect to FAIL. It’s only when you’re happy with FAILING, the chance you won’t get the interview – do you roll up your sleeves and do the work.

You’re not attached. Don’t make it personal. See the bigger picture. Try to look at it from an outsider’s viewpoint.
You’re just here to do the work until you get the result you want.
You continue to do the work.
You don’t let anything stop you, and I promise you – when you reframe it like this – magic happens.

You get motivated.
You become driven.
You keep going. And going.
